Patient Advocacy

The OptiMed Patient Advocacy program was established to specifically provide a personal resource to those members in need of counsel during their time of need. Our Advocacy services exist to serve as a liaison between our members and their healthcare providers. From member benefits to financial obligations, our advocacy department will work to ensure that members receive the most out of their OptiMed Health Plan.

Our services include but are not limited to:

  1. Assisting our members with locating the best quality doctors and pharmacy providers
  2. Benefit Pre-certification and Confirmation for doctors and hospital visits
  3. Information gathering on financial options available to our members
  4. Cost negotiation and Claims re-pricing
  5. Claims management

The OptiMed program is not available in the State of Washington and State of Montana. Please check with your OptiMed sales representative to confirm that OptiMed is available in the state or states in which you may have an interest in offering OptiMed.
