• Create application design specifications and participate in architectural reviews.
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle regarding technology solutions
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code
• Ensure designs are following specifications, including regulatory and compliance requirements
• Prepare and produce releases of software components
• Routinely perform code reviews to ensure high-quality designs and implementation Assist in ensuring quality and timeliness of product/feature development.
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject
• 7+ years proven working experience in Java and/or Scala
• Desire to learn Scala
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to complete tasks on time with minimal supervision
• Experience working in Google Cloud or AWS
• Experience with both relational and document databases
• Experience creating rest endpoints

• Experience with Akka
• Experience with Spark
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Experience with streams/streaming data
Job Type: Full-time or Contract
• $68-72 per hour
• Pay: $120,000.00 – $140,000.00 per year
